Former Crested Cranes defender jean Ssenide on Thursday morning launched the Jean Sseninde United Limited, a company to run an exclusive girls academy for the under 10s, U12s, U15s and U17s.
The company will also run a women professional football team, a sports consultancy firm, a sports agency and an event management arm.
“Our aim is to create the best global football opportunities and services for our clients both on and off the field and make them the best in the world,” Sseninde said.
“Football is a global sport that is played by approximately 250 million players in over 200 countries making it the world’s most popular sport. Striving to unite football people in communities around the world together to shine.”
Sseninde who has featured for Crystal Palace, Queen Park Rangers in the United Kingdom has in the past organized the Jean Sseninde Women Development Cup, a tournament that has given young girls a platform to play and expose their talents.
