Ukrainian flag have gathered in the centre of Kherson today to protest the ongoing Russian occupation.

The latest clips from those on the ground illustrate how much the demonstration has grown in a few hours, with up to 2,000 people thought to be in attendance.

Ukrainians chanted “Russians go home” and “Kherson is Ukraine”, with earlier footage capturing Russian troops firing into the air in response.

The BBC reports that checkpoints have been set up throughout Kherson, with every vehicle stopped as they pass through.
