General Administration:
Under this section, are the general manager or station manager, the accountant, and the secretary. This department serve various duties such as the payment of wages and salaries, license and other government-imposed fees, taxes, insurance, legal and auditing fees, and contributions to charitable organizations. In addition, maintenance of the building and of equipment, utilities, office supplies, computers, and other administrative services and supplies are also provided by the general administrative department. In short, the general administrative function supports and maintains the operations of the entire station.
Programming:
This encompasses everything from the Program Director, Music Director, and on-air personalities. Everything from which songs are or are not played when they should appear on-the-air as well as any special features. The way the station is presented on-the-air is often controlled by Programming. This department oversees all programs and presenters, ensuring the smooth operating of the station.
News:
The news department is primarily responsible for creating news, preparing, and broadcasting them. This department also prepares news interview shows and broadcasts them. News department work closely with both the production and engineering departments.
Production:
The production department works closely with the programming, news, engineering, and sales department. Its sole responsibility is to produce the various programs, be the news packages, newscasts, public-affairs programs, station promotional spots, client commercials, or other productions that Centenary radio may require.
Sales:
This is the lifeblood of our station, where the sales manager and the rest of the members in this department go out to solicit advertisers for commercials, sponsors for special events and making special partnerships such as fundraising for popular causes.
Promotions:
This department is responsible for keeping Centenary Radio station in the eyes of its target demographic audience, be it with visual advertisements on television, in print or, in modern times, via social media.
